Licensed Practical Nurse

Miriam joined us most recently from the pediatric clinic at Elmendorf AFB. Prior to that she was a nurse at another pediatric clinic in the Valley. She attended Arizona State University College of Nursing and graduated from Southwest Technology Center in the thriving metropolis of Altus, Oklahoma. She holds current certification in CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Nurse Miriam's wide-ranging experience in the nursing field includes working as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician in Air Force evacuation settings around the world for six years. Her AE travels have taken her to exotic air strips in locations such as Japan, Germany, England, Azores, Italy, Luxembourg, Haiti, Spain, Bermuda, and Charleston, South Carolina.

Miriam is active as a girl scout mom. In the late winter she is typically well stocked with cookies for sale. She also enjoys vacations, vacations, and vacations!

Ptarmigan Pediatrics is pleased to have Miriam's friendly attitude and infectious work ethic in our clinic. Her nursing knowledge and willingness to share it with others makes her an asset to our CMA and nursing students, as well as the rest of the staff. We're certain that our patients will appreciate her presence as well.
