Denise Pharr

 Denise finished her Charter College CMA student externship with us in March 2010. At that time our clinic was getting so busy we decided to bring on additional help. She was an obvious choice and we are happy she accepted our invitation.

 Denise was born in Palmer, Alaska, and graduated from Houston High School. She spent a year in Michigan after high school, but I guess she couldn't stand the cold, so she moved back to Alaska. She enjoys fishing and camping in the summer and snowmachining in the winter. And of course spending time with her husband and young son.

In our clinic, Denise is trained to give allergy injections and was our first extern to do immunizations. She is also one of Mat-Su Borough's few certified car seat safety technicians, which allows her to assist parents in properly setting up their children's car seats.

Denise says she enjoys working here because we are like a little family -- with the side benefit of watching our patients grow.
