Stacy has held so many jobs outside of the clinic it is difficult to describe his employment history. He has a Masters Degree in Biology from Walla Walla University (College Place, Washington), but has worked in a daycare facility, dormitory front desk, taught waterskiing, repaired houses, and been a stay-at-home Dad (for 7 years). Being married to a member of the United States Air Force is rarely conducive to steady employment. His most unique job was studying bird migration from oil and gas production platforms in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico for Louisiana State University while his wife was stationed in nearby Biloxi, Mississippi.
He loves all things outdoors, particularly fishing, alpine skiing, and nature photography (most of the nature images on this website were taken by him). He is a licensed bird bander and is one of only four scientists licensed to study hummingbirds in the state of Alaska. He is a member of the National Ski Patrol and enjoys dabbling with internet web design in his free time.
At Ptarmigan Pediatrics, Stacy maintains this website and the clinic Facebook pages, and oversees the front office. He may be able to help you with simple billing questions. It's a poorly kept secret that Dr. Peterson is his wife.
